Story
The Dayshape team have come together through the wet and muddy Scottish winter to form a mixed touch rugby team.
We've pushed through training sessions in the meadows in the rain, worked out that we need to remember to run backwards instead of forwards, and endured many mud slides and face plants with our colleagues.
Very few members of our team have ever played rugby before. So we're playing in a rugby tournament on the 28th February in an effort to demonstrate our new-found rugby skills are (at-least) equivalent to that of the rugby playing 11 year-olds our CEO usually coaches.

The main reason we are doing all of this to raise money for Maggie's Centres and to support our local community here in Edinburgh.
Maggie’s Edinburgh is based at The Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, in a warm, welcoming purpose-built centre surrounded by a beautiful garden. They provide free support to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis including family and friends.
Their expert team includes cancer support specialists and psychologists who provide a wide range of support including one to one and group sessions and advice on nutrition and exercise. Visitors are also able to access advice on claiming benefits from their benefits adviser. No appointment or referral is needed, just pop in. Maggie’s is almost entirely supported by voluntary donations from individuals and corporate partners.
